Terms of service.

These terms cover use of the StackCraft website. Engagement work is governed by a separate written agreement signed by both parties before any project starts.

Who we are

StackCraft is a personal design and AI-build practice operated by Chris Jack (legal name: Christopher Jack), Melbourne, Australia. Contact: hello@stackcraft.com.au.

Use of the website

You can read everything on this site for free. By visiting, you agree the content is provided as-is, without warranty, and is intended as honest opinion and build-in-public reflection — not as professional advice for your specific situation.

The contact form

Submitting an enquiry via the contact form does not create a contract or guarantee a reply, an engagement, or any specific outcome. We reply to most legitimate enquiries within two business days. We reserve the right to decline any project for any reason.

Engagements

If we agree to take on a project, the engagement is governed by a separate written proposal and agreement, signed by both parties. That document sets out the scope, deliverables, timeline, price, payment terms, intellectual property, confidentiality and termination clauses for that specific project. Nothing on this website overrides that agreement.

Intellectual property

All content on this website — writing, design, code, images — is owned by StackCraft / Chris Jack unless otherwise stated. You’re welcome to quote and link to articles with attribution. Wholesale republication is not permitted without written permission.

Third-party links

Articles may link to third-party sites, podcasts, or tools. We’re not responsible for content, terms, or privacy practices on those external sites.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Australian law, StackCraft is not liable for any loss arising from use of this website or its content. Liability for engagement work is limited per the signed engagement agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the website after changes means you accept the updated terms. The current version is always at stackcraft.com.au/terms.
